Our engineers use only the latest advancements in 3D modeling techniques to ensure stress is evenly distributed across the ECD hinge to allow for a lifetime of enjoyment. Once the design aspect of the ECD kit is complete a sheet on high strength, low weight, heat treated 100XF DOMEX steel is cut using laser cutting and metal stamping techniques to manufacture each ECD hinge. Robotic welding is used to ensure proper welds that last the test of time and provide an esthetically pleasing end product. Each ECD kit is put thorough a series of strength and pressure tests to ensure standards are met.

The ECD kit includes two high powered gas lift supports. Each gas lift support is rated between 650 and 1100lbs. The proper pound rating is applied to the vehicle's door weight to allow for effortless operation of the ECD motion.
