The ECD kit is designed to allow for 85 degrees of vertical travel from the factory. The ECD kit is adjustable to allow for up to 120 degrees of vertical travel if you'd like a more aggressive look. Few come close to this achievement and only ECD can guarantee its customers a true bolt on kit. Our partnership with automotive manufacturers worldwide allow for this industry first achievement.
Each ECD kit includes all that is necessary to complete your ECD install. This includes two ECD hinges one each custom designed for both passenger's and driver's doors. A wire extension kit to allow for the ECD triple pivot fluid motion. Two high powdered gas lift supports designed in Germany and build specifically for the ECD design. Theses are not your typical shocks that fail early on. They are custom engineered for the ECD kit to ensure they stand the test-of-time. Mounting hardware, an install guide, along with an owner's manual is included to complete your ECD package. Besides our in-process multi-point Statistical Process Control (SPC) inspection we also perform an intensive and thorough first and last piece inspection. Each ECD kit is manufactured using 3AA heat-treated, high strength DOMEX 100XF steel. This is the same high grade material that NASCAR uses to manufacture its roll cages. Translation: a strong study kit that keeps you door in place once elevated. Don't be fooled by the cheap import kits or those who promise to bring quality but provide only disappointment.
