The ECD kit includes everything necessary to complete the ECD conversion. This includes 2- ECD hinges, one for the driver’s and one for the passenger’s side doors. The kit also includes two high powered gas lift supports. The pound rating of our gas lift support varies from 650lbs to 1100lbs. The proper pound rating is applied to the vehicle’s application. The kit includes all mounting hardware and a wire extension kit. Add directions to that and the ECD kit encompasses all you need to stand out in a crowd.

The ECD hinge mechanism is backed by a lifetime replacement warranty against structural or mechanical failure. The gas lift supports are guaranteed against failure for a period of 6 months.

We suggest the installation of the ECD kit to be done by a trained automotive professional as some automotive experience is required. Normal installation time can vary anywhere between 6-8hrs depending on the application.

Each Exotic Car Door kit is designed specifically for the vehicle it is being installed on. The kit is designed as a bolt on kit. The installation is completely reversible back to OEM standard without difficulty. The kit can be welded on as well in some applications.
